Dr. Jackson joined I-ACT for Children in April 2021 after over 20 years in the pharmaceutical services industry. She most recently served as vice president and general manager, Rare Diseases and Pediatrics, at Covance. At Quintiles, Inc., she served as the global head of both the Pediatric Center of Excellence and the Rare Diseases Center of Excellence. Dr. Jackson has worked on projects in metabolic syndromes, immunodeficiency, vaccines, neurological disorders, pulmonary, gastroenterology, neonatology and oncology.

Dr. Jackson holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing a pediatric residency, she completed fellowships at Glaxo Wellcome in HIV pathogenesis and Duke University Medical Center in pediatric infectious diseases, where she continues as an adjunct assistant professor in the division of pediatric infectious diseases.
