Membership Information

Nurses, coordinators and other research delivery staff must work in a pediatric medical or clinical research setting or at least 50% of professional activities involve medical care, education or clinical research that benefit children. Their employer must be an academic center, medical center, clinical research investigative site or private research foundation or should be an affiliate of such organizations.

Dues: $50

Medical Students
Medical Student Members must be enrolled in a medical school accredited by the American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC) or the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM), and international medical students must be enrolled in a medical school listed in the International Medical Education Directory (IMED).

Residents
Resident Members must be enrolled in a pediatric or surgical residency training program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) (U.S. residents) or ACGME International (ACGME-I) (international residents).

Research Fellows
Fellow Members must have completed a pediatric residency approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or ACGME International (ACGME-I) and be currently enrolled in a pediatric fellowship training program or residency program affiliated with an academic center, medical center or private research foundation); be currently enrolled in an Alternative Pathway residency program approved by the American Board of Pediatrics or other relevant Board; or have completed a medical or surgical residency, and be currently enrolled in a pediatric fellowship training program leading to proficiency and/or certification in a pediatric surgical or pediatric-oriented subspecialty.

Parent or caregivers interested in learning more about and/or contributing to the work we do to advance scientific and clinical knowledge and accelerate the development of new medicines and devices for children may find membership to be a valuable way to make an impact.

Biopharmaceutical, legal, financial, policy and other related professionals must be engaged in or support pediatric clinical research.

Physicians must have received an M.D. or D.O. or an equivalent degree from an accredited medical school and must practice medicine or engage in other professional medical, research, administrative or educational activities related to children. PhDs and those who hold professional doctoral degrees (e.g. PharmD, DNP, DDS, DVM) must have received their degrees from an accredited university and must be affiliated with or employed by, an academic center, medical center, clinical research investigative site, private research foundation or similar organization.

Dues: $175

Government employee Members must be currently employed by a government or any agency, ministry or department of a government. This includes local, state and federal levels.
